Russia continues to lead Abkhazian puppets on and again promises to provide a loan of 700 million rubles.

According to Russian media, the credit is granted in two tranches. The first tranche of 300 million rubles will be transferred within 15 days from the day the agreement enters into force. The second tranche of 400 million rubles will be transferred within 15 days after the Central Bank of Russia confirms to the Ministry of Finance implementation by the Abkhazian side of the priority activities for the modernization of the National Bank of Abkhazia stipulated in the appendix of the agreement.

The Abkhazian side will pay the Russian side interest on a loan at a rate of 2.5 percent per annum in Russian rubles.

We note that the Russian side is negotiating this tranche from the beginning of the year, but Sukhumi has yet to receive a single ruble.
