Georgian Interior Ministry issued a formal statement about the detention of resident of so-called South Ossetia.

According to the Ministry, on January 4th the Office of Shida Kartli regional police detained a member of Ossetian gang in a village of Nikozi of Gori district Gennady Pliyev born in 1975 who was armed with automatic weapons.

At the same time, the puppet regime of Tskhinvali Accused Georgian secret services
of kidnapping of citizens of so- called South Ossetia.

According to the separatists, yesterday at 7am five people attacked Gennady Plyev when he was training in Shanghai area that is located on the territory bordering Georgia. According to them, Plyev was kidnapped in the direction of Georgia.
