Birthday of Anatoly Barankevich - the former "Defense Minister" and former "secretary of Security Council" of so-called South Ossetia - became occasion for a large gathering of South Ossetian opposition. Tough on December 15th not only political allies of the Russian general, who since the war became a sworn enemy of Eduard Kokoiti, but also friends of the head of the puppet regime of Tskhinvali could be seen in the elite Moscow restaurant "Prague".

The chosen place of celebration in honor of Barankevich –one of the most expensive ones in Moscow - suggested about his current boss, the leader of South Ossetian opposition and a prominant Russian businessman Albert Jusoev who arrived to the party with an entire team of associates. And the presence of television presenter Mikhail Leontiev was to hint to the guests, that in the face of this "talking head" the Kremlin - or at least, FSB - was invisibly present at the meeting. What arrival of another notable guest - former "prime minister" of Tskhinvali regime Yury Morozov meant is hard to say.

But the main intrigue of the political feast was appearance in a restaurant of a close friend of Kokoiti – member of the State Duma of two convocations, two-times Olympic champion and six-time world champion in wrestling - Arsen- Fadzaev. A former athlete who is currently a politician in Moscow and is considered the patron of Kokoiti declared Kokoirti's enemy a hero, and said that Ossetian people would never forget the contribution of Barankevich in the cause of independence. "He helped not only South Ossetia - he helped Russia", - declared Fadzaev in his toast and drank with people, some of whom are barred even from appearing in Tskhinvali.

In general, all toasts in the hall began with bad language in the address of Kokoiti and ended with praises to the Barankevich. "Now begins the real cause - pointedly hinted Jusoev to the gathered public - We will together replace people who are now sowing hopelessness in Tskhinvali; who torment people, and appropriate other people's money. This regime is introducing dirty laws. And Moscow is also turning a blind eye. They should speak up and put an end to this mess. It is not a right thing that because of one man, Kokoiti, so many people live in hell".

The reason of feast himself was speaking straight from the shoulder as a true general and called "President" of Tskhinvali regime a "garbage" and "shameless." Anatoly Barankevich stressed that work on the overthrow of his former patron continues and told about his secret wish: "My dream is to unite South Ossetia with Russia, and it will definitely happen." The guests were clearly pleased with enthusiasm of the retired general. Among a long list of gifts given to Barankevich appeared to be even a Swiss watch, valued at several thousand euros, and the coat of arms of Russia decorated with diamonds.
