According to the State Minister of Georgia for integration into European and Euro-Atlantic structures Alexi Petriashvili, trade relations with Russia will not be put on the scales with issues such as territorial integrity and de-occupation. This was a comment made by Petriashvili on the statement of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
"The trade relations in no way will be put on one scale with issues such as territorial integrity of Georgia and de-occupation, Georgia's integration into NATO and the European Union. So, restoration of trade relations with Russia would help normalize relations between the nations, and in the future - between the two countries, "- said Petriashvili.
According to him, the Geneva process is unchanged, and that it will be the main forum in the relations with Russia.
