Giorgi Volski to head parliamentary commission on territorial issues

Interim Commission of the Parliament of Georgia for restoration of the territorial integrity will be headed by member of the Parliament from Georgian Dream coalition Giorgi Volski who in 2004-2007 was Deputy State Minister for Conflict Resolution.

During yesterday's vote, he won more votes than the candidate of the United National Movement Shota Malashkhia, who headed the commission in the previous convocation.

The new commission will include 12 members and its powers are defined for two years.
