A body of chief investigator of the Tskhinvali puppet authorities Roland Chitayev found in Tskhinvali region. His body was found near the village of Vanati. Chitayev was killed with a pistol shot in the head. The Russian media was told about this at Tskhinvali prosecutor general’s office – investigation department of which was led by the deceased.

It is known that the night before the kidnappers brought Chitayev out of his apartment and put him in a car. After that no one has seen the head of the investigation department alive. The search continued all night. After midnight Chitayev’s car with traces of blood in the cabin was found in the village of Kokhati. Soon it was managed to detain alleged kidnappers. However, they could not get testimonies from them since the detainees were dead drunk.
