A new chief of security of the head of the Tskhinvali regime was appointed. Today the head of staff of the administration of Leonid Tibilov introduced Murat Guchmazov on this position. At that Boris Chochiev said that "in the near future certification tests are planned in the ministry, which will aim at further optimization of the body”.

According to agency RES, a decree appointing Guchmazov was signed by Tibilov on May 5th. Another decree of the Tskhinvali "president" of the same day dismissed the former chief of security Elbrus Gabaev.
